Radcliffe needs a new school. So, I’ll work with the community and the Government to get it done. Parents have told me that they can’t get places at local schools since Riverside shut.
We can breathe new life into our town centres. By bringing empty shops back into use and investing in facilities that you can’t get online, like better cultural facilities, quality restaurants, cafes and sports facilities.
We’ve got to end the jams on our roads. A new plan for parking spaces, better junctions and new traffic signals through Prestwich will help to ease the backlog. So I’ll work with residents and businesses to keep traffic moving.
Our links to the big cities should attract more business to move here. So I’ll bang the drum for Bury and get more new employers to choose our area. Creating more local jobs that pay a decent wage.
