Bury Conservatives are continuing their campaign for Road Safety across the borough, and recently submitted a motion on the matter at September Council which achieved cross-party consensus.
A motion was received and set in the Summons in the names of:

In May 2020, the Bury Labour Cabinet handed themselves a £25k pay rise. Now, in the upcoming budget, they're trying to save £20k by dimming the lights throughout our borough. It's not rocket science: let's cut Labour's allowances to keep the lights on.
BREAKING: Despite public support for our campaign to Save Our Civic Venues, Bury Labour have today announced their plan to close the Elizabeth Suite and the Longfield Suite. We are pleased that Ramsbottom Civic Hall is being saved, but this isn't enough.
Many residents, over a number of years, have thought that more traffic safety measures in the vicinity of where Bury Road becomes Market Street in Tottington is needed to make crossing the road in peak traffic hours much safer.
