Bury Crime Survey

We know that crime has a big impact across our borough, which is why we're asking you to share your view. Across Bury, Ramsbottom, Tottington, Whitefield, Radcliffe, and Prestwich, our councillors and candidates are determined to deal with any crime issues affecting our area. Please take a few moments of your time to complete the below survey and share your concerns on crime and anti-social behaviour.

The Labour Mayor is responsible for policing in Greater Manchester, including our part of Bury – setting priorities, handling the budget, and delivering results. But over the past 4 years, we've seen Police repeatedly forced back on to pen and paper due to a failing IT system. The time taken to answer 999 calls rose from 12 to 48 seconds, despite a 10-second national target. Over 80,000 crimes go unrecorded, including serious violent offences. GMP have been forced into special measures with the author of the damning report into policing saying the risk to the region is 'high'.

Have your say on how crime affects you. Fill in our survey below, and together we can build a safer borough.
