At a Special General Meeting of Bury Conservative Association today, Councillor James Daly was selected as the Conservative Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Bury North at the next General Election.
James Daly is currently Leader of Bury Conservatives on Bury Council and a Councillor for North Manor Ward.
A family man, he runs a small business in Bury.
James is a Chair of Governors at a nursery school and a Governor of two other Bury primary schools.
He plays cricket for Brooksbottom Cricket Club and is a Coach of a Greenmount Under-9 Cricket team.
James added "I am delighted to have been chosen as the Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Bury North and look forward to continuing to lead the Conservative campaign to improve the lives of all Bury residents."
