Simply the Fest

A total of £5,500 was raised for Bury Hospice after a music festival took place in memory of an "incredible" landlady.

Cllr Luis McBriar, who attended the event, said. “It was fantastic to see so many people attend the brilliant Simply The Fest at Walshaw Sports Club.

"Bury Hospice touches the lives of so many people in our community, every penny raised will go towards helping them to continue their vital work. Sue was a much-loved lady in our community.

"The amount of people who attended the festival was testament to how much she meant to people, and I want to pass my congratulations onto Ryan and the organisers and look forward to next year’s Simply The Fest.”
