We had some great conversations with local residents and business owners today, and a few major local issues came up loud and clear:
No Tourist Tax on Bury Businesses: Local businesses and residents are right behind the Bury Conservatives' campaign against extra financial burdens a vital motion that was unfortunately voted down by Labour.
Infrastructure & Community Concerns: From blocked drains and frustrating traffic problems to the ongoing impact of HMOs on our neighbourhoods, local concerns were very much the focus of the morning.
