Our Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has spoken to the Turkish President and confirmed a seventy-seven-strong British search and rescue team has arrived in Gaziantep with search dogs and specialist rescue equipment. The UK has also provided an additional £800,000 to The White Helmets to assist front-line search and rescue efforts in North West Syria. The British search and rescue team has already got to work on the ground and the UK Government stands ready to provide further support as needed.
