Bury Conservatives are delighted to announce that their recent Race Night brought in just shy of £2,500 in takings. The event, held at Holcombe Brook Tennis Club, combined the thrill of on-screen horse races with a lively raffle, fantastic food, and music to round off the evening.
The group extends heartfelt thanks to Richard and Lisa at Cosalea for their excellent catering services, to the Holcombe Brook Tennis Club and its staff for hosting and staffing the event, and to Rob and Steph from Fund-racing for expertly organising the races and operating the betting station. Above all, Bury Conservatives wish to thank everyone who attended and helped create a wonderful, community-driven atmosphere.
Cllr Jackie Harris, who organised the Race Night and serves as Bury Conservatives’ Fundraising Officer, commented:
“I’m thrilled by the response and generosity from everyone who came along. The atmosphere was fantastic, and it was wonderful to see so many people having a good time. Events like these really show the strength of our community. A huge thank you to all who helped make this night such a success.”
